Our Values
At Malmesbury Park, our school values of kindness, resilience and respect were carefully chosen through a whole-school process that reflected what matters most to our community.
We began by exploring a wide range of values as a staff team, creating a long list that represented our shared beliefs and aspirations for our children. Staff then voted for their top three values. This was followed by a pupil vote, ensuring children had a strong voice in shaping the values that guide their school. Finally, parents and carers were invited to vote, making this a truly collaborative decision.
These values represent the qualities we want every child at Malmesbury Park to grow into. We expect our children to live by them every day, and we hold ourselves to the same high standards. Kindness, resilience and respect underpin everything we do, shaping our relationships, learning and school culture.
Kindness
Kindness sits at the heart of life at Malmesbury Park. We encourage children to show care, empathy and consideration in their words and actions every day. Our Kindness Ambassadors help promote positive behaviour across the school, supporting others and modelling what it means to be kind in practice. We believe kindness strengthens relationships, builds confidence and helps create a happy, inclusive community where everyone feels valued.

Respect
Respect is a fundamental value at Malmesbury Park and underpins how we treat one another every day. We teach children to listen, value different perspectives and show consideration for everyone in our school community. With more than 40 spoken languages represented at our school, we celebrate diversity and encourage pupils to appreciate and learn from the richness of different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Respect helps our children to build strong relationships, feel proud of who they are and understand the importance of equality and inclusion.

Resilience
Resilience is a key value at Malmesbury Park and is essential in helping children face challenges with confidence and determination. We encourage pupils to keep trying, learn from mistakes and see setbacks as opportunities to grow. By developing resilience, children build perseverance, self-belief and the courage to take risks in their learning, knowing that effort and determination lead to success.
